Nathan is my new student. He is 6-years-old and will be in First Grade in September. He drew this during his first art class. By searching my archives, you can see that I absolutely love to teach art to children.
“If you can’t explain it to a six year old, you don’t understand it yourself.” – Albert Einstein
“Inside every hardened criminal beats the heart of a ten-year-old boy.” – Bart Simpson
Over and again, I say that Children are the true artists; and that parents and teachers must do whatever is necessary to help them retain their youthfulness–their fresh look on life, which exudes through their art.
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” – Pablo Picasso
My child students are key to my being young at H-Art, too.
